Monkey Business Soundsystem is a Belgian non-profit platform rooted in underground electronic music and soundsystem culture.

Active since 2008, MBSS operates as a collective of artists, DJs, producers and volunteers, driven by a shared passion for jungle, drum & bass and bass music in its rawest forms. Through events, open airs, releases and digital media, MBSS creates space for artists to experiment, perform and connect. From club nights and community gatherings to livestreams and international releases, the platform bridges local scenes with a wider global underground network.

At its core, MBSS is about more than music.

It is about building a sustainable and independent culture where artists, volunteers and audiences actively shape the scene together. New talent is supported through opportunities to perform, release music and grow within a community that values creativity over commercial pressure.

All activities are rooted in a DIY and grassroots approach.

Everything from event production and artwork to music releases and livestreams is developed within the collective, with all revenue reinvested into future projects and the growth of the platform. Monkey Business Soundsystem exists to strengthen and document a niche culture that often remains underrepresented.
